Dr. Slack is the director of the University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute (uOBMRI), as well as an inspiring professor and researcher with the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Dowlatshahi is the co-lead of the uOBMRI Injury and Regeneration Pillar as well as a senior scientist and stroke neurologist at The Ottawa Hospital, a professor at the University of Ottawa, and the Director of Research of the Ottawa Stroke Program. Dr. Slack and Dowlatshahi speak with Leanne about the uOBMRI and the groundbreaking stroke research happening right here in Ottawa. The interview can be found here.

Dr. Lisa Walker is the co-lead of the uOBMRI Neurodegeneration Pillar as well as a neuropsychologist and clinician investigator with The Ottawa Hospital, an assistant professor with the University of Ottawa, and an adjunct professor with Carleton University. Dr. Walker is joined by Mr. John Chafe, a father, husband, sports enthusiast, and uOBMRI MS Research Group member living with MS for over 20 years. Dr. Walker and Mr. Chafe discuss neurodegeneration research at the uOBMRI, and the fundraising event MS in Motion. The interview can be found here.
