- You can continue to study (and work, if eligible) until IRCC makes a decision on your study permit extension application, provided you meet all of the following conditions:
- You’ve applied for your study permit extension from within Canada.
- You had a valid study permit at the time you submitted your application.
- You’ll remain in Canada while IRCC is processing your application.
