Building Information

Morisset Hall, built in 1972, is a six-storey building with two basements. The building was named after Father Auguste Morisset, Founding Director of the School of Library Science and Chief Librarian from 1934 to 1958 at The University of Ottawa. Morisset Hall not only houses the main library with its nearly 6 million individual titles in all formats, it also is home to CHUO 89.1 FM and the Office of the University Librarian.
