Poster Presentation

• You will have to prepare a poster and briefly discuss your findings.

You will be evaluated based on the following information:

• Background information and a rationale for the work
• A clear hypotheses and objectives
• The main experimental approaches
• The most important findings and interpretations
• An analysis of results with conclusions that relate back to the objectives

You will also be evaluated on your ability to describe your work and the overall appearance of your poster.

Length 

Each presentation should be a 10-minute summary of your progress so far followed by a 5-minute discussion period.

Poster instructions

Here are a few rules to follow for your poster creation:

• Poster backgrounds must be white;
• Poster cannot exceed 10 megabyte in size;
• Please check your poster carefully for formatting or mistakes before uploading your final draft/poster. There will be no reprints;
• Poster size is limited by the size of the printer. One side of the poster must not exceed 36” (91.44 cm); Usually the size of poster is 36” x 48”.
• Documents must be in PowerPoint or PDF only;
• For statistical purposes, students are required to specify their academic rank: Undergraduate, MSc, PhD, PDF, other;
• Students must provide their student email address to be contacted once poster is ready for pickup.

Print & pick up your poster

All poster printing requests must now be submitted through the BMI poster printing Form. Requests sent by email will no longer be accepted. The deadline to submit your poster for printing is February 13, 2026. Any requests submitted after this date will not be processed, and students who miss the deadline will be responsible for arranging their own printing.
