1. The Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) correspond to the continuous activity course CTM 7102. The baseline assessments are essential to ensure that you are progressing in your program. You must achieve a minimum entrustment level of 3 out of 5 for each of 12 EPAs in order to meet the program requirements and be eligible to graduate.
2. To initiate the EPAs assessment, you must log into Elentra, select “Start an Assessment,” and send a request to your supervisor. Enter the assessor’s name when prompted; if they are not an Elentra user, select “Add External Assessor” to manually enter their details.

2. Before requesting permission to write, they must achieve expected entrustment levels for 80% of the EPAs.
Spring/ Summer term (Sixth term in your program)
- Submit Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) in Elentra uOttawa, for evaluation by supervisor(s) (if some EPAs have not yet been assessed, or if you have not achieved the require entrustable level).
- Submit the List of Examiners for the Evaluation of the Thesis*1 through a Service Request in uoZone – due at least ONE MONTH before the submission of the thesis for evaluation.
- Submit the thesis for evaluation through a Service Request*2 in uoZone – by June 30.
Notes:
1. Any delay in the submission of the list of examiners will delay the entire evaluation and defense process and may have financial consequences since the submission of the thesis cannot be accepted if the list of examiners has not been submitted.
2. You may submit your thesis at any point during the term or by the final deadline. Consult the Important academic dates and deadlines for specific thesis submission dates.

- Hold the Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting and submit the Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC) report in a Service Request in uoZone Applications tab– by April 30.
- Complete the Comprehensive examination – by 4th or 5th term of first enrollment.
Note:
The comprehensive examination corresponds to CTM 8103. All courses outside of the EPA course (CTM 8104) and the thesis course (THD 9999) must be completed prior to completion of the comprehensive exam.
Spring/Summer Term (fifth term in your program)
- Submit Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) in Elentra uOttawa (if some EPAs have not yet been assessed, or if you have not achieved the require entrustable level).
- Submit first Annual Progress Report through a Service Request in uoZone Application tab - by August 31.
- Complete the Comprehensive examination (in the event of re-examination) by August 31.
Fall Term (sixth term in your program)
- Submit Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) in Elentra uOttawa (if some EPAs have not yet been assessed, or if you have not achieved the require entrustable level).

- Submit Request for Permission to write the thesis*1 through a Service Request in uoZone – by April 30.
Note:
1. At the last Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting, students will present their data and formally request "permission to write" from their TAC committee to write their thesis full-time. Before requesting permission to write, they must achieve expected entrustment levels for 80% of the EPAs.

- Submit Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) in Elentra uOttawa (if some EPAs have not yet been assessed, or if you have not achieved the require entrustable level).
- Submit the Annual Progress Report through a Service Request in uoZone Application tab - by August 31.
Fall Term (twelfth term in the program)
- Submit Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) in Elentra uOttawa (if some EPAs have not yet been assessed, or if you have not achieved the require entrustable level).
- Submit the List of Examiners for the Evaluation of the Thesis*1 through a Service Request in uoZone – due at least ONE MONTH before the submission of the thesis for evaluation.
- Submit the thesis for evaluation through a Service Request*2 in uoZone – by October 31.
Notes:
1. Any delay in the submission of the list of examiners will delay the entire evaluation and defence process and may have financial consequences since the submission of the thesis cannot be accepted if the list of examiners has not been submitted.
2. You may submit your thesis at any point during the term or by the final deadline. Consult the Important academic dates and deadlines for specific thesis submission dates.
