Pharmasave Community Service Award

This award provides financial assistance to pharmacy students who have demonstrated a passion and interest in community involvement.

This award was generously created by Pharmasave Drugs (East) Ltd.

Pharmasave East is committed to engaging future pharmacists during their academic journey.

The recipient will have an opportunity to meet with a representative of Pharmasave East at the awards ceremony, held on November 24, 2026, as part of Research Day.

Eligibility criteria

The candidate must:

  • Be enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at the University of Ottawa.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Be actively involved in volunteer work that has a positive impact on community life.

Complete and submit the Pharmasave Community Service Award application form by the deadline.

The application form will ask about:

  • Your financial circumstances.
  • Whether you currently receive, or have applied for, government student loans.
