Computer labs for students

The labs provide convenient access to reliable computing resources and common software applications. They offer access to applications required in certain areas of study or packages that you might need occasionally but not often enough to justify their purchase. The labs also offer spaces to work in groups.

What to expect

The Faculty of Science maintains, for its students, 30 computers. These machines run applications, such as Microsoft Office, ArcGIS Pro and other software required by courses offered at the faculty.

Availability: All students in Faculty of Science

Hours of Operation: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Notes: Students wishing to stay after doors are locked are welcome to do so and may stay as long as they like. These labs are available to Faculty of Science students except when courses are scheduled. Please consult the timetable posted at the door.

Requirements

  • Current uoAccess login name and password. Login accounts and passwords are mandatory. 
  • Be enrolled in a course offered by the Faculty of Science.
  • Be a professor or employee of the Faculty of Science.
