Registration procedure for social work field placements SVS 3620 and SVS 4620 and integration seminars SVS 3525 and SVS 4510.

Registration for social work field placement is now possible via the uoCampus online registration tool.

Before registering for a social work field placement, you must meet with the coordinator of field placements and practical training.

Registration for the first placement – TSO 3620

After meeting with the coordinator of field placements and practical training, and before registering for the TSO 3620 placement, you must register for the seminar on integrating field placement experience (Intégration des expériences de stage I, TSO 3525). This seminar must be taken at the same semester as the TSO 3620 placement. You may add one additional 3-credit course to the 9 credits of the TSO 3620 placement and the 3 credits of the TSO 3525 integration seminar.

How to register for the placement (Stage d’intervention I, TSO 3620) and integration seminar (Intégration des expériences de stage I, TSO 3525)

Step 1: Verification of prerequisites

To be eligible for the first field placement you must have:

  • A grade point average of 5.0 and have successfully completed the following courses:
    • TSO 3505 - Fondements théoriques de l'intervention sociale
    • TSO 3515 - Laboratoire de préparation au stage

Step 2: Registration via the online registration tool, uoZone.

You must first register for the Seminar for the Intégration des expériences de stage I - TSO 3525. Once this registration has been confirmed, you will be able to register for the Stage d’intervention I - TSO 3620.

Registration for the second field placement – TSO 4620

After meeting with the coordinator of field placements and practical training, and before registering for the TSO 4620 field placement, you must register for the seminar on integrating field placement experience (Intégration des expériences de stage II, TSO 4510). This seminar must be taken at the same semester as the TSO 4620 placement. You may add one additional 3-credit course to the 9 credits of the TSO 4620 field placement and the 3 credits of the TSO 4510 integration seminar.

Step 1: Verification of prerequisites

    • TSO 3525 - Intégration des expériences de stage I
    • TSO 3620 - Stage d'intervention I

Step 2: Registration via the online registration tool, uoZone.

You must first register for the Intégration des expériences de stage II - TSO 4510. Once this registration has been confirmed, you will be able to register for the Stage d'intervention II - TSO 4620.
