Innovation Support Services mission is to advance research at uOttawa for societal benefit and impact through student experiential learning and the promotion of partnerships with industry, government, the community and other stakeholders. We further active engagement between those developing new discoveries and those best able to make them available for societal benefit.
The ISS group, part of the Office of the VP Research and Innovation at uOttawa, facilitates collaborative research and development projects between industry and University research teams.

Our greatest asset is our collective experience in developing, protecting and commercializing research results. We’re also able to advise on what you need to access research resources at uOttawa.
What we can do for you
We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Government of Canada and the Federal Research Support Funds program for their investments in the uOttawa research enterprise, which help ISS transfer knowledge from academia to the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
