The following important dates and deadlines apply to the entire student population, whether you are studying at the undergraduate, graduate or postdoctoral level.

Dates and deadlines

Dates may vary for certain programs (Education, Common Law, Civil Law, Engineering, Medicine, MBA, Master of Health Administration (MHA), Health Sciences, etc.) and for work terms. Please check with the academic unit concerned and refer to the Co-op website for work-term deadlines. Consult the calendars below to find out more about their important dates and deadlines. This information can change without notice.

Classes are cancelled on Monday, May 18, in lieu of Victoria Day (statutory holiday). They will be held on Saturday, May 23, when the usual Monday course schedule will apply. Some exceptions may apply at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, please contact your faculty. Changes to regular course schedule don't affect CO-OP and clinical placements.	May 23
Classes are cancelled on Wednesday, July 1, in lieu of Canada Day (statutory holiday). They will be held on Saturday, July 4 when the usual Wednesday course schedule will apply. Some exceptions may apply at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, please contact your faculty. Changes to regular course schedule don't affect CO-OP and clinical placements.	July 4
Classes are cancelled on Monday, August 3, in lieu of Civic Holiday (statutory holiday). They will be held on Saturday, August 8 when the usual Monday course schedule will apply. A financial credit is applied only if the withdrawal changes your status from full time to part time (including if you withdraw from all your courses). The deadline to receive a reimbursement for the incidental fees associated with a course may be earlier. The withdrawal deadline for a given course may differ depending on the start and end dates. Specific dates are indicated in the My Class Schedule application in uoZone. Withdrawing from a course may affect whether you will meet all your program requirements. Be sure to consider all changes very carefully before going ahead.	May 22

Last day to submit a thesis for written evaluation and receive a 100% financial credit (applies only if you are enrolled exclusively in the thesis and were also enrolled in the thesis in the previous term). If you receive a 100% financial credit, your enrolment for the current term will be cancelled. Credit not applicable if you are submitting a revised thesis. Note that students awaiting written evaluation of their thesis must remain enrolled in UHIP until the end of their program.	May 22
Last day to submit a thesis for written evaluation and receive a 50% financial credit (applies only if you are enrolled exclusively in the thesis and were also enrolled in the thesis in the previous session).
