Lamoureux Hall

Building Information

Lamoureux Hall, built in 1978, is a four-storey building plus a basement. The building is named after Father René Lamoureux, an educator and 1st director of uOttawa’s École normale. Lamoureux Hall is home to the Faculty of Education, the School of Psychology, and the Center for Research on French Canadian Culture. While mechanical and service rooms make up most of the basement level, food services, classrooms, laboratories, conference rooms and office spaces comprise the rest of the building.
