The responsibility is on you, the student, to find a supervisor. If you are admitted to the program, The Graduate Studies Office will add your name to the list of incoming students searching for a supervisor, however, the responsibility is on you to reach out and confirm a supervisor.
If you are applying to a specialization, the supervisor must have supervisory privileges in both disciplines.
We strongly recommend that you secure a supervisor prior to submitting your application. If you are unable to secure a supervisor by the deadline indicated on your offer of admission, your file will be closed.
To find out if your program of interest requires a supervisor, consult the program page.
Please refer to the list of research interests and professors per academic unit:
- Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology
- Cellular and Molecular Medicine & Neuroscience
- Epidemiology, Public Health and Preventive Medicine
- Clinical Science and Translational Medicine
How to confirm your supervisor
You can submit your stipend form and confirmation of research supervision form to uoDoc or send them to us directly by email to [email protected].
Registration to courses will not be possible before approval has been received from the Graduate Studies Office.
