The Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies offers stimulating bilingual and interdisciplinary programs that explore questions of gender, power, and diversity. You will study crucial issues such as contemporary imperialism and colonialism, transnationalism, sexualities, gender identities, disability, indigeneity and Indigenous feminisms, labour, reproduction, and racism. Courses and experiential learning activities provide both theoretical and practical knowledge, helping you develop intellectual capacity, analytical skills, and collective engagement for social justice and transformation.
