The Civil Law program (licence en Droit) is offered exclusively in French. Therefore, students must have a sufficient understanding of written and spoken French to participate in their courses. In order to evaluate their French proficiency, first-year Civil Law students who completed their previous studies in English must complete an online French Proficiency Test administered by the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute’s Language Testing Services. Students who are required to take the test will be contacted by the Civil Law Section.
*New*: Starting January 2026, the payment for test related fees must be completed through the university’s estore. Please follow the steps below to access the payment mode.
