Academics and certifications: Second-year Bachelor of Human Kinetics ; CanFitPro Certified Personal Trainer

Background and experience: My background in fitness started through sports, including 16 years of hockey, along with baseball, flag football, and badminton, which built my discipline and work ethic. I was named captain 3 times, which shaped my leadership on and off the ice. I began training in the gym six years ago and gained hands-on experience working in gym environments, including leading group classes with The Fitness Lab and working as a personal trainer with Strength Craze. I have also hosted fitness clinics for elementary students and coached their school hockey team during their tournament. Managing anxiety has been part of my journey, and the gym became a space where I could focus and reset, which drives how I coach today. I aim to create a structured, supportive, and challenging environment where you can stay consistent and see real progress in and out of the gym.
