The Department of Emergency Medicine ACE/fellowship in Resuscitation is an exciting new program at the University of Ottawa. It seeks to support and grow physicians with special interest in resuscitation medicine to ensure the optimal care of critically ill patients in the Emergency Department.
Staff working together on practice patient

The program’s curriculum explores cutting edge management of our sickest patients through review of physiology, procedural expertise and systems-based approach to care. Through quality improvement projects, trainees with expertise in resuscitation medicine can directly impact the care provided to patients in our emergency department and share their skills with the DEM multidisciplinary team.

There is no formal accreditation.
