The University of Ottawa uses the HotSpot app, as well as physical Pay Station machines at select locations, which allow clients to pay for daily parking from their mobile device!
NOTE: While daily parking may be pre-purchased through the Hotspot app, please note that this does not guarantee a space will be available upon arrival. Neither Parking Operations nor the University can assume responsibility if payment has been made and no space is available. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you wait to purchase daily parking until you have confirmed that space is available.
Download the HotSpot app from the App store or Google Play.
Pay Station
These stations allow users to pay for parking using credit/debit cards or mobile tap payments.
Ticket options:
- Pay and display: Prints a receipt that can be placed on the dashboard.
- Pay by license plate: Users input their plate number, with compliance digitally enforced.
