To cancel your parking permit, regardless of the type of permit, you must complete the cancellation form and report to the Parking and Sustainable Transportation Office in person to return your permit and access card (if applicable).

Parking permits

Permits with less than three months’ validity remaining are considered short term and are non-refundable.

For any other parking permit, a reimbursement will be issued if the permit is cancelled before the applicable refund deadline, namely:

  • Full year permit (May to April): February 1
  • Academic year (September to April): February 15
  • Term:
    • Fall (September to December): October 15
    • Winter (January to April): February 15
    • Spring-Summer (May to August): June 15

The original payment method will be used when processing the refund.

Employees who wish to cancel a parking permit they have paid through payroll deduction must complete the cancellation form and report to the Parking, Traffic and Sustainable Transportation Office in person to return both the permit and access card (if applicable).

  • Permits may be cancelled at any time; however, payroll deductions can only be stopped on a mid-month pay date or final pay date for the month.
