Share your love of family medicine with the physicians of tomorrow!

To teach medical students or residents, you must have a faculty appointment. The Faculty of Medicine appoints clinical faculty members who are responsible to both the university and the teaching site.

Undergraduate

We are looking for family doctors to serve as a preceptor for 1st and 2nd-year University of Ottawa medical students in a Community setting (i.e. family doctor’s office, house calls, nursing home etc.). This would be for eight half days over the Academic Year.

Postgraduate

The Department of Family Medicine provides a job board for part-time, full-time and locum positions available for physicians at external and affiliated clinics in Ottawa and across Canada. View the job board.
