The Department of Family Medicine launched INNOVATION, our research newsletter, in August 2019. This biannual e-newsletter facilitates the sharing of research and innovative academic projects by our faculty and trainees. Over the past decade, the research arm of the Department of Family Medicine, has established itself as a national leader in primary health care. Over that period, our members’ annual research operating funds increased from $4.9 million to 21.1 million and have made extraordinary contributions to the body of primary health care knowledge, supporting health systems transformation during a period of rapid evolution.
