Student and professional Residence Life and Residence Safety staff help enrich the student experience both personally and academically.

The Residence Life team is comprised of the following positions.

Community Advisors (CAs)

Upper-year student leaders who live in residence and foster a community atmosphere within your building floor or unit. They’re here to help you in many ways, direct you toward other resources you may need, and maintain and improve the quality of residence community life. CAs are a peer-to-peer resource for you as you go through your first year in residence, and can offer confidential support for your personal or academic concerns.

Team Leads (TLs)

Upper-year student leaders who live in residence and manage a team of community advisers. Former CAs themselves, they support the current CAs and organize building-wide activities!

Peer Supports (PSs)

Upper-year student leaders who live in residence and provide peer-to-peer support to upper-year students. They help build community and foster a positive residence experience. PSs hold office hours — visit them if you have personal or academic concerns you’d like to address with a peer.

Residence Life Coordinators (RLC)

Professional staff responsible for residence safety and security. They supervise and support the community adviser, team lead and peer support teams. Coordinators make sure that the Residence Agreement and Student Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures are followed and act as a resource if you need additional support.
