For the campus-wide launch of Workday

The Workday launch on May 8 will generate a lot of questions. For a quicker service, direct them to your faculty/service local super user. The IT Service Desk will only be transferring all these requests to the Workday helpdesk.

  • Open, track and manage your requests with the Self-Service Centre. If you are an active member of the university (student, professor or employee) with uoAccess ID, contact us by using the service centre. 
  • If you are a visitor without uoAccess credentials and you need assistance with questions related to technology, we invite you to fill out the visitor's request form

  • Hours for live chat: 
    • Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • The Service Desk is open: 

    • Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

    • Weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    • Regular hours of operation for telephone support are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

    • Extended support through trained uOttawa students is offered on Monday to Friday from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. and on weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Requests that fall outside their area of expertise will be addressed as priority requests the following business day.

  • We help you explore and navigate uOttawa's digital landscape. Get one-on-one tech support and learning from uOttawa student experts.

  • Service is obtained by booking an appointment. You can choose the topic: a 30-minute, one-on-one learning and support session for uoZone, Brightspace, Zoom and more!
