Experimental research flume lab

Tsunami and earthquake simulator

The experimental research flume is the only one in the world with a submerged seismic table to model the effects of undersea earthquakes, a custom-designed wave generator to create tsunami-like waves, and a sediment recirculation system to simulate the erosion and sedimentation processes that alter river and coastal landscapes.

Craft Lab

The Craft Lab is an innovative project that breaks the mould of conventional learning and provides an out-of-the-box, hands-on learning opportunity for students. By combining chemical engineering theory and hands-on entrepreneurship concepts, students create their own craft beer.
