Teacher Education (B.Ed.) - English only

The Teacher Education program is a two-year full-time hands-on professional program that prepares candidates to teach in Ontario elementary or secondary schools.

French as a Second Language (FSL)

Teacher Education (B.Ed.) - French as a Second Language is open to candidates from all three divisions (P/J, J/I and I/S). Building community with FSL teacher candidates and professors from all divisions is a high priority for us at the Faculty of Education.

BA in Second Language Teaching (SLT)

This is an undergraduate program that will prepare you very well for entry into the Bachelor of Education program. Whether you plan to teach French, English or other academic options, in Canada or abroad, you can get a head start by taking this program. It is offered jointly by the Faculty of Arts, through the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI) and the Faculty of Education. Spaces are reserved, see admission requirements.

Microprogram in Science Education

If you are interested in a career related to teaching or the design and delivery of educational programming, this microprogram will offer you the opportunity to acquire a strong foundation in Science Education. Available after completion of 21 credits.
