How can workplaces support a sustainable return to work for those who are absent from work due to mental health issues?

These are just a few of the questions that will be examined in this webinar organized by the Policy and Practice in Return to Work after a Work Injury: Challenging Circumstances and Innovative Solutions research program. A Guide to Supporting Return to Work in Mental Health: A Workplace Centred Approach

Description: When returning to work, what are the "invisible" barriers faced by employees who have been absent from work due to a mental health problem? How can workplaces overcome these barriers to support the return to work of employees with mental health problems? What strategies can workplaces adopt to facilitate this process? These are just a few of the questions that will be explored in Dr. St-Arnaud's presentation.

Ethics, Practices and Policies of Health Care and Return-to-Work for Persons Compensated Following a Work Injury: Important Findings

Description: In this presentation, you will learn more about the ethical and organizational aspects of care and return to work. The material presented will be based on work done in three Canadian provinces (Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia), the state of Victoria in Australia and Washington in the United States. Critical reflections on the organization of care currently provided will be raised.
