Un sommet « Musique sur ordonnance » de l'Institut de recherche en musique et santé

Cet événement fait partie d'une série d'activités de sensibilisation multidisciplinaires et intersectorielles axées sur les bienfaits de l'engagement musical sur la santé et le bien-être. Elle est organisée par l'Institut de recherche en musique et santé (Université d'Ottawa), en partenariat avec le Centre de santé mentale Royal Ottawa (l'Hôpital Royal). Ces événements rassembleront des chercheurs de premier plan de tout le Canada, dans le domaine des sciences humaines (musique, éducation et psychologie), des sciences de la santé (réadaptation, audiologie et orthophonie), des sciences (neurosciences, biomécanique) et de divers domaines de la médecine.

A summit event (May 5) on a Music on Prescription Initiative, where researchers, community stakeholders, and decision-makers across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors will engage in discussions on social prescribing with the aim of providing concrete recommendations. This sharing of varied experiences and diverse perspectives will help to better define and clarify the issues and needs specific to the development of a model of music and health in social prescribing. This will be followed by the publication of a special online dossier, in French, on music on prescription (10-12 papers, plus podcasts and videos) in the ACFAS magazine Enjeux-recherche (November 2023). This summit and the follow-up publication will elaborate a plan of action and build concrete strategies for the implementation of a model of Music on prescription in the Ottawa area, extending across Canada.
