Key dates

Make sure you don’t miss anything! Get familiarized with the key dates and deadlines.

Date	Action
January 8	First day for students to apply to jobs for the summer 2024 work term. NB: Jobs are posted for 48 hours.
January 10	First day for employers to view student resumes online through the CO-OP Navigator. Employers send the list of selected candidates and preferred interview dates to the CO-OP Office, online through the CO-OP Navigator.
January 22	First day of first round interview period (from January 22 to February 2).
January 24	Job-posting deadline for the first round interview period. (Postings received after these dates are kept for the second round process).
January 30	Last day (by 4:00 p.m.) to submit interview requests for the first round interview period.
February 2	Employer ranking forms are due, by end of day. (Please ensure that, for each position, you rank students from one institution only.)
February 2	Last day of the first round interview period.
February 8	First round matching results will be sent by e-mail before day's end.
February 12	Second round process begins (continuous placement process which can last until June) Jobs are posted for a 48-hour period, after which you can view resumes online through the COOP Navigator. We recommend that you contact us as soon as possible to schedule your interviews.
May 6	First day of summer work term. The work term normally takes place from May 6 to August 30 (duration of 15 to 17 weeks).
August 30	Deadline to complete the Employer Final Evaluation in the CO-OP NAVIGATOR.
August 30	Last day of summer 2024 work term

May 13	First day for students to apply to jobs for the fall work term. NOTE: Jobs are posted for 48 hours.
May 15	First day for employers to view student resumes online through the CO-OP Navigator. Please submit your interview request via the CO-OP Navigator.
May 17	Interviews start date.
Continuous	Employers are invited to extend offers or classify students by preference as soon as possible after the interviews, via the CO-OP Navigator. Students may no longer be available if there is a delay in extending the offer(s). (Please ensure that, for each position, you extend offers to students from one institution only.)
September 3	First day of fall work term The work term normally takes place from September 3 to December 20 (duration of approximately 15 weeks).
December 20	Last day of fall work term.
December 20	Deadline to complete the Employer Final Evaluation via CO-OP Navigator.

September 11	First day for students to apply to jobs for the Winter work term. NOTE: Jobs are posted for 48 hours.
September 13	First day for employers to view student resumes online through the CO-OP Navigator. Please submit your interview request via the CO-OP Navigator .
September 25	First day of first round interviews (September 25 to October 6)
September 27	Job-posting deadline for the first round interview period. NOTE: Jobs are posted for 48 hours. (Postings received after these dates will be posted in the second round process).
October 3	Deadline to submit interview requests for the first round interview period.
October 6	Employer rankings are due by end of day via the CO-OP Navigator. (Please ensure that, for each position, you rank students from one institution only.)
October 6	Last day of the first round interview period.
October 13	First round matching results will be sent via e-mail by end of day.
October 17	Second round process begins (this placement process can last until mid January) Jobs are posted for a 48-hour period, after which you can view resumes online through the CO-OP Navigator. We recommend that you contact us as soon as possible to schedule your interviews.
January 8	First day of the winter work term. The work term normally takes place from January 8 to April 26 (4 months).
April 26	Deadline to complete the Employer Final Evaluation via CO-OP NAVIGATOR.
April 26	Last day of the winter work term
