The system matches students to jobs using the deferred acceptance algorithm. With this algorithm, you will get the best possible match if you rank jobs in order of your true preference.
- Check that the number of positions you have to offer for your job(s) is correct. If it’s not, contact us as soon as possible.
- For each job, enter a 1 for as many students as the number of positions offered for that job.
- Rank remaining students in order of preference: Put a 2 next to the student you most want to hire among the remaining students, 3 next to the next best student, and so on.
- For ranks other than no. 1, you should rank two students the same only if you think they’re exactly equal. Ranking students the same won’t increase your chances of being matched.
- The more students you rank, the better your chances of a match. Please note that any rank is considered a job offer.
- Enter an X for students who don’t have the skills required for the job.
- The number of matches will depend on the number of positions associated with the job.
