Head start camp

May 29 au 31, 2024

In May 2024, the University of Ottawa will once again offer its Head Start camp to over 200 students from French-language high schools in the Centre-South-West region of Ontario. During their stay, participants will live as real university students in the residences of the University of Ottawa's main campus.

This year, participants will take part in six sessions that will allow them to discover various disciplines studied at the university, participate in multidisciplinary field experiences, and plan their post-secondary studies.

2024 Sessions (offered in French only)

The 2024 program is divided into three parts.

The first part ("Workshops" - blocks A and B) consists of workshops on some of the disciplines studied at the university. The second part ("Experiences" - block C) offers six practical field experiences that will allow participants to explore different aspects of a theme during an afternoon. The third part ("Presentations" - blocks D, E, and F) is an opportunity to learn more about the various university programs in a specific field and to help plan one's future.
