Canada Graduate Scholarships – Doctoral program (CGS D) and Doctoral Foreign Study Award (DFSA)

The Canada Graduate Scholarships – Doctoral program (CGS D) provides special recognition and support to students who are pursuing a doctoral degree in a health-related field in Canada.

The Doctoral Foreign Study Award (DFSA) provides special recognition and support to students who are pursuing a doctoral degree in a health-related field abroad.

Value

CGS D: $35,000 per year;
DFSA: $35,000 per year

October 7, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST (likely - to be confirmed when the competition will be launched by the agencies)

Please note that all the applications are processed through the CIHR ResearchNET portal even when it is indicated in the flowchart that you apply through the institution at which you were registered.

Please consult the description and application criteria for each of the scholarship (CGS D and DFSA) since there might be some differences.
