Orientation for New Academic Leaders

As part of our development plan for faculty members and librarians, we organize every year an orientation for new academic leaders (recently appointed program directors, department chairs, head librarians, school directors, vice deans or other faculty members and librarians in similar positions of service at our University).

This event is spread across two days:

  • Monday,  August 25 (8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, August 27 (8:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

The event comprises information sessions, panels, and networking activities to prepare you to initiate your mandate with the right tools.

*You're invited to join if:

  • you are a new leader who started or will be starting an academic leadership mandate in 2025
  • you are a new leader who will be starting an academic leadership mandate in the winter of 2026.
  • you are a new leader from the 2024 cohort that was not able to join last year's orientation.

If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].
