OVPRI information sessions on the 2027 Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) Innovation Fund competition

You’re invited to attend an information session on the next CFI Innovation Fund competition. The presentation will cover the terms and conditions, evaluation process and deadlines that apply to this competition. The talk will be given by Derrick Gibbings (interim associate vice-president, Research Support and Infrastructure) and Brigit Viens (director, Strategic Development Initiatives). Researchers and faculty members are welcome.
Details
The CFI Innovation Fund supports a broad range of research programs, including those in natural sciences and engineering, health, social sciences, humanities and the arts, as well as interdisciplinary research. It provides sustained funding for research infrastructure for both fundamental research and applied research and technology development. This funding serves not only to invest in new infrastructure, but also to consolidate and renew current research facilities and equipment.
