Printer usage guide for guests

Address your specific printing needs in order to ensure a smooth and efficient printing experience for all.

Steps

  • Guests at uOttawa can use the Discover uOttawa Card distributors on campus to purchase cards. Before using your card on any of the self-service printers on campus, you must register it by following the steps below (one time operation).

2. The multifunction printer’s screen will indicate that the card is unknown. Enter your credentials as stated below

  • Your username starts with the letter 'v' followed by the ten-digit numbers on the back of the card. E.g.: v0123456789

  • Your password is the four-digit code located at the back of the card. It needs to be scratched off before accessing it. E.g: 1234
     

View the balance on your card, change your password and submit a job print by going to uoPrint portal.

The cost of one print job cannot be $30 or more. If it's the case, the system will cancel your submission.
