Biography

With over two decades of versatile experience spanning university teaching, administrative management, and consulting, I currently serve as a lead Coordinator for undergraduate academic administration at the University of Ottawa. My career is distinguished by expertise in process optimization, complex problem-solving, and needs assessment, complemented by extensive experience in budget coaching for diverse audiences. Holding a master in translation (French, English, Arabic), my intercultural and linguistic proficiency has enabled me to successfully share knowledge as a university lecturer for more than ten years. A proactive and results-oriented leader, I am adept at utilizing modern digital tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and am committed to fostering integrity, respect, and collegiality in all my professional endeavors.

Letter of Intention

Madam President, 

It is with great respect that I submit my application to serve as a member of the University of Ottawa’s Board of Governors. I am deeply committed to the effective governance and sound management of such a prestigious institution, and I am eager to contribute my skills and dedication to support its strategic objectives. 

Throughout my professional career, I have developed solid expertise in leadership, project management, and administration—particularly within the academic sector. My experience has enabled me to anticipate student needs and optimize internal processes to enhance overall efficiency. As a financial advisor and coach, I have also demonstrated the ability to analyze complex situations, navigate crises, and establish strategic partnerships, while fostering awareness of critical financial and social issues. 

In addition, my strengths in communication, active listening, and written expression enable me to engage meaningfully with diverse stakeholders and to promote multicultural values and mutual respect within any organization. My autonomy, diligence, and proactive nature allow me to respond effectively to challenges while upholding the highest ethical standards. 

I am confident that my multidisciplinary background and skills in management, teaching, and interpersonal relations align with the expectations for this role. I would be honored to actively contribute to the Board’s strategic and operational decision-making by offering a dynamic and collaborative perspective.
