To whom it may concern,
I am writing to submit my candidacy for the open position on the Board of Governors for support staff, as announced on April 14.
I am the manager of the Animal Behaviour and Physiology Core, a core facility located in Roger Guindon Hall. The Core provides optimized experimental space for rodent behaviour testing for all members of the UOttawa research community. I have been a full-time member of the support staff since taking this position in 2017. I believe that my perspective as a support staff in the sciences will be a valuable addition to the Board of Governors.
Included with this letter is the nomination form, signed by five full-time members of the support staff, a short biography, and a photo. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require additional information.
Sincerely,
Kerstin Ure, PhD
