Letter of Intention

Kwey, Bonjour, Hello,

Since arriving on campus in 2013, I have been privileged to learn, work, and grow alongside students, faculty, and staff in nearly every corner of the University of Ottawa. Today, as Senior Advisor, Culture and Safe Sport, I witness daily how support staff drive the day-to-day excellence that underpins our academic mission.

I am therefore honoured to submit my candidacy for the support-staff seat on the Board of Governors. Drawing on twelve years of relationship-building and a career dedicated to building community in an inclusive culture, I will…

  • ask clear, constructive questions that keep our decision-making transparent.
  • advocate for policies that respect and empower all employees; and
  • work collegially with fellow governors to turn the ambitions of Transformation 2030 into tangible results.
