Join us for a career development drop-in session.

Offered both virtually and in person at the Career Corner, the drop-in sessions are a great way to learn career basics while getting personalized advice from a Career Specialist. They can answer your questions relating to Resumes, Job Search Strategies, LinkedIn and Interviews.

All career related questions are welcome in each session, there are no defined topics!

Every Monday, (November 6, 13, 20 and 27)  - 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Every Wednesday, (November 1, 8, 22 and 29) - 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  • In-person , meet us at the Career Corner Resume Bar (UCU 216). 
  • The session on November 15 will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Every Friday, (November 3, 10, 17 and 24) - 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Friday, December 1 - 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Monday, December 4 - 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday, December 6 - 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Government Student Ambassadors are a liaison between post-secondary students and the federal government. They provide guidance and insight on opportunities for you to obtain a position in public service. They will be present at the Career Corner every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.

They can help by:

  • Providing information about government hiring programs, pre- and post-graduation
  • Offering application tips and advice
  • Giving insight into the "after you've been hired" process
  • Assisting you in exploring your options and opportunities
