Exhibition Day Winners
Fasten your seatbelts — these uOttawa student entrepreneurs are ready to go!

On Wednesday, November 22, student entrepreneurs at the University of Ottawa participated in Exhibition Day, hosted by uOttawa’s Entrepreneurship Hub (eHub). The day is the culminating event of the eHub’s Startup Garage RevUp Circuit. It’s an opportunity for students enrolled in the program to put their learning to the test by pitching a business idea they’ve worked on throughout the eight-week circuit.

It was an eventful day of networking, food and pitches from 14 student teams! Students hoped to win one of two prizes.

The RevUp Circuit Grand Prix ($1,000) is awarded to an entrepreneur who presents a clear problem and solution, showing their target market and what they’ve done to validate their idea.

The RevUp SDG Grand Prix ($1000), provided by Design Centred, is awarded based on similar criteria, but in this case, for solutions related to one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Congratulations to Soroor Motie, who took home the Grand Prix, to Myroslava Volosheniuk and Alex D’Aoust, who won the SDG Grand Prix, and to all the students who participated in Exhibition Day!
