Climate Change Policy Roundtable looks at the tensions between climate and trade policies.

GSPIA and the CN-Paul M. Tellier Chair on Business and Public Policy hosted a roundtable on Nov 2 to explore how green subsides, border carbon adjustments and other climate policies can give rise to tensions among trading partners, and what strategies Canada can advance to reduce these tensions and sustain an inclusive and rules-based multilateral trading system.  Panelists included government officials as well as experts in the field of trade and sustainable development. This was the second in the series of Climate Change Policy Roundtables moderated by GSPIA Senior Fellow Patricia Fuller.
