Kevin Lambert and Julie D. Kurtness

Born in Chicoutimi to a Quebec mother and an Ilnu father from Mashteuiatsh, J. D. Kurtness moved to Montreal with the intention of studying microbes, but eventually dedicated herself to writing and, more recently, to computer science. In 2017, she published her first novel, De vengeance, at L'instant même. In 2019, her second book, Aquariums, was published, a genealogical novel whose story is set in the long term to conclude in the near future where humanity is the victim of an unprecedented epidemic.
