Teacher helping young students with technology

A.I., Robotics and Programming at the elementary level

  • Familiarize yourself with the micro:bit and its built-in sensors (motion, acceleration, tilt, light, temperature, magnetic field, etc.).
  • Learn how to use extensions with the micro:bit, e.g. servo motor, radio function, data logger, etc.
  • Learn how to program animations, simple games and reactions to movements with MakeCode.
  • Learn how to introduce artificial intelligence to your students in a clear and engaging way - explaining what it is, how it's designed, and how it's used in everyday life. Explore AI concepts through hands-on activities, including movement and machine learning projects using micro:bit CreateAI.
  • Create individual and group interactive projects to understand the basics of computational thinking and problem solving.
  • Explore ideas for integrating micro:bits into different school subjects (science, math, art...).

At the end of this course, you'll leave with ready-to-use teaching resources, ideas for concrete projects, and the confidence to guide your students in creative, technological activities.
