Brief abstract

Evidence shows that the neighbourhoods and communities we live not only affect our health but can also reinforce the inequality in health between people who have money and those who do not. Given this, ONS sets out to understand the social determinants of health and the elements of a healthy community. Through research, mapping, analytics, and knowledge translation & transfer (KTT), ONS supports data-driven solutions aimed at reducing health inequities.
