Professor Duchesne has worked for over 40 years in various educational settings, including 18 years as a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa. In this presentation, she will discuss the highlights of her career, focusing on how the professional transitions she has experienced and the teaching and coaching roles she has held, have given meaning to her life. 

Excellence in Education lecture series

The University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Education, Ontario’s first bilingual teacher training institution, promotes excellence in teaching and research. Launched in 2011-2012 to mark its 45th anniversary, the Faculty of Education's Excellence in Education lecture series is a forum for sharing our professors’ exceptional research expertise and providing a better understanding of contemporary issues impacting Canadian society and beyond.
