PluriTech - Let's mobilize! (French Session)
Jun 10, 2025 — 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The EducLang Research Group would like to invite you to an information sharing session of findings from their research project entitled “PluriTech” (funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, SSHRC). This project aims at understanding how language teachers use technology to promote plurilingualism.

Description
Join us if you wish to find out more about the results of PluriTech, detailing the plurilingual strategies of second language (L2) teachers in French-speaking contexts and how they use technology to mobilize their students' linguistic repertoires for L2 learning.
EXPLORE the findings with us!
First, we will share findings from surveys and interviews with our teacher participants (N = 225). We will present and compare the profiles of prospectives, practices, challenges, and ressources (including technology!) that participating ESL and FSL teachers used in Ontario anglophone contexts.
DISCUSS the findings with us!
Then, we will facilitate a focus group to share reactions and questions related to the findings. This discussion will directly influence our ongoing research, as we will ask questions aimed at enhancing our shared understanding of themes that emerged from this research. Participants in this short discussion will receive a small token of our appreciation for their energy and time.
Note
An English edition will also be held on June 11th, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. You can find the link here to join the event: PluriTech - Let's mobilize!
