Knowledge Synthesis in Education: Overview of A Burgeoning Approach
Overview of a burgeoning approach
Nov 22, 2022
Join us for the next event in our Research Conversations Series entitled “Knowledge synthesis in education: Overview of a burgeoning approach” with Patrick Labelle, Librarian. Register for this event happening on November 22, 2022, at 12 PM.
In the last few years, a growing number of systematic and scoping reviews have been published in education. These reviews aim to produce exhaustive syntheses of the literature to answer specific questions or to explore general themes by following rigorous methods. This presentation will offer an overview of the different types of knowledge synthesis as well as the resources required and the steps to follow to conduct this type of research. Panellists from the Faculty will also participate to offer their perspective and share their experiences.
Patrick Labelle, Research Librarian affiliated with the Faculty of Education
