Event details
Design Day is an event that takes place twice a year, in the fall and winter terms, where students of the Faculty of Engineering will be presenting the design projects they have worked on for external clients. These design projects can be physical prototypes, design plans, apps or websites, and prizes will be awarded per category.
The event is free and open to the public, which brings together industry professionals, families, friends, faculty members and students.

If you are a student and are interested in presenting a personal project in the Open category, complete the online registration form before November 22, 2024.
Agenda
Presentations of judges - 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (SITE and STEM)
Students will be presenting their projects to judges in the morning of the competition.
Projects fair - 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. - open to all (SITE and STEM)
Drop by SITE and STEM during the morning to see the projects that our students have designed! students will be available to tell you more about their project if you ask them.
Engineering Pitch Competition - 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Engineering graduate and undergraduate students will pitch their business model concepts to a panel of judges from the Ottawa entrepreneurship community.
Ceremony - 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. - open to all (STEM)
