Biography

Dr. Clara Wu completed her medical degree at McGill University, her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan, and her fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Ottawa. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at Harvard University and hopes to bring an evidence-based approach to her fertility practice.

Dedicated to research, Dr. Wu has presented at national and international conferences, and has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her past endeavors have garnered research awards from the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Canada. Her current research interests involve investigations and management of recurrent pregnancy loss, fertility options in the setting of endometriosis, and the improvement of assisted reproductive techniques. Dr Wu is also an Associate Physician at the Ottawa Hospital and a Clinical Lecturer in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. She is certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in obstetrical and gynaecological ultrasound.

Dr. Wu’s practice includes all areas of reproductive medicine, with a particular interest in recurrent pregnancy loss, recurrent implantation failure, endometriosis, and fertility options for single persons. Dr. Wu is fluent in English, French, and Mandarin, and is committed to providing a compassionate individualized approach in helping patients achieve their vision for parenthood.
