Biography
David McBride is the Medical Director of the Day Hospital program at the Ottawa Hospital. His clinical focus is on helping clients improve their quality of life through increased self-awareness, development of life skills, and empowerment. The Day Hospital is a multidisciplinary group-based program designed to assist clients in making active change in their lives and in overcoming motivational barriers to change. David’s teaching is geared to senior psychiatry residents who want to develop interview skills, practical case formulation skills, and integrative psychotherapy techniques. His preferred pronouns are he/him.
