Biography

Dr. Maloney graduated medical school in 1971 at the University of Ottawa. He is currently an attending emergency physician at The Ottawa Hospital. In addition to clinical duties, his roles include providing medical direction to the paramedics of Eastern Ontario.

He is an associate professor with the University of Ottawa, Department of Emergency Medicine and his academic interests focus on prehospital care and emergency preparedness.

Dr. Maloney is proud to have served as Medical Director of the ACT foundation, responsible for CPR training for almost 3 million Canadian high school students.
