Biography
Dr. Stephen Ryan completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biochemistry in 1994 and PhD in Biochemistry in 2000, both at the University of Ottawa. He graduated from the University of Calgary Medical School in 2003 and returned to the University of Ottawa to complete residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the Ottawa Hospital in 2008. This was followed by a one-year fellowship in Interventional Radiology before joining the Department of Medical Imaging at the Ottawa Hospital in 2009. Dr. Ryan is currently an Assistant Professor with the University of Ottawa and Director of the Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program.
